Meet the Visionary Behind Our Mission
Growing up in a small town, she spent her childhood immersed in essay contests, debates, dance shows, and art competitions experiences that helped shape her confidence and creativity. Fascinated by fashion from an early age, she dreamt of creating designs she saw in magazines and films. Despite financial limitations and a conservative family background, her parents supported her passion, and she promised herself she would one day fly on an airplane, a dream no one in her family had experienced.
She refused to let circumstances define her path. Nights were spent sketching, studying hard, and overcoming bullies. In 1993, a life-threatening illness tested her resilience, teaching her patience, gratitude, and strength.
After high school, mentors encouraged her to move to Delhi and pursue Fashion Design. With nothing to fall back on, she poured her heart into her studies. Her first break came at Modelama Exports, where she learned product development, manufacturing, and the importance of relationships under the guidance of Mr. Gulati.
From 2004 to 2021 at Triburg, she mastered global sourcing, cost negotiations, and risk management. Her first international flight in 2005 fulfilled a childhood dream. A career highlight was developing a pleated dress later worn by Meghan Markle proof that precision and passion create lasting memories.
In 2021, she joined Newtimes Group, driving innovation across global brands. She values their belief in product before profit, and credits her success to the teams and mentors who shaped her journey.
As India stands poised for sourcing leadership and AI reshapes the industry, her message to the next generation remains clear: there are no shortcuts, discipline, purpose, and passion pave the way.
